Grinderman unveil details of new single

Nick Cave’s new side project Grinderman have unveiled details of a new single.

‘(I Don't Need You To) Set Me Free’ will be released on April 30 as a one-side limited edition numbered 7" and download.

Speaking about the track, lifted from the band’s recently released self-titled debut LP, Cave said: "I was trying to find a way into what I wanted the lyrics to be concerned with. I was listening to John Lee Hooker and I heard these lines buried deep in one of his songs."

The band make their live debut at this year's All Tomorrow Parties Festival over the weekend of April 27-29, curated by The Dirty Three.
