...And hit the road with Reverend And The Makers

The Ting Tings have announced they are to release new single 'Fruit Machine' on a 500-limited run of seven-inch vinyl.

The vinyl is only available for fans to buy at the following live shows:

Salford Islington Mill (October 19)
Berlin West Germany Club (27)
Islington Electrowerkz (November 7)

A hundred blank seven-inch sleeves will be pinned to a wall at each gig, making a canvas on which fans can create an overall piece of artwork that, once dismantled, will be used as the sleeves for the singles.

In addition to this, the making of the sleeves will be filmed and then shown in real time at each consecutive venue.

Meanwhile, the band will play with Reverend And The Makers on the following dates:

Norwich UEA (October 3)
Northampton Roadmenders (4)
Leicester University (6)
Nottingham Rock City (7)
Preston 53 Degrees (9)
Leeds Met (10)
Liverpool Carling Academy (11)
Hull University (12)
Newcastle University (14)

Edinburgh Liquid Rooms (17)
Glasgow QMU (18)
