The Reverend forced to flee impromptu T In The Park gig
Jon McClure is mobbed by a crushing crowd
At the end of the Makers' set inside the tent, McClure pointed outside and told the crowd of his impromptu plan.
"Backstage is full of these celebrity cunts," he said. "I'm going to play my guitar out there for you now. Make sure you come and have a sing."
Grabbing an acoustic guitar, McClure jumped off the side of the stage and led people, Pied Piper-style, out of the tent onto the grass outside.
Positioning himself against a security fence, McClure was soon mobbed by a huge number of fans, all desperate to capture the moment on their camera phones.
McClure managed to play two acoustic songs which were inaudible to all except those closest to him, resulting in people climbing atop the fence to get nearer to the action.
As the fence began to collapse, McClure was forced to abandon his performance by worried security guards and, after thanking the fans, ran off backstage.
