Jon McClure helps kick off the 10:10 campaign

Reverend And The Makers and Stornoway are due to play free gigs at London's Tate Modern today (September 1), to kick off the 10:10 climate change campaign.

McClure is understood to be taking to the stage with his band at 6pm (BST) to perform a set, according to a Tweet on Twitter/JonMcClure.

10:10 is a climate campaign asking individuals, businesses and organisations to try to cut their carbon emissions by 10 per cent in 2010.

The first 1,010 people who turn up to today's public launch are also provided with a free glass of champagne, The Guardian reports.
