Zero 7 announce new 'uptempo' album

Zero 7 have announced that they will release a new 'uptempto' album, 'Yeah Ghost', on September 7.

The album, which will be their fourth full-length studio effort will, according to a statement issued on behalf of the band, see the tempo of their music upped from their usual ambient dance fare.

According to the statement the album from the duo – Henry Binns and Sam Hardaker – will see the tempo of their songs "ratcheted right up".

As well as completely original material the album is set to feature reworked songs from the pair's side-projects – Kling and Ingrid Eto.

The tracklisting of 'Yeah Ghost' will be:

'Zizou'
'Pop Art Blue'
'Medicine Man'
'Ghost sYMbOL'
'Sleeper'

'The Road'
'All Of Us'
