AALIYAH LEAVES SINGLE LIFE BEHIND - FOR NOW

Despite the phenomenal success of her comeback single 'TRY AGAIN', Aaliyah's proposed follow-up has been scrapped.

The double-A side, 'Come Back In One Piece'/'I Don't Wanna' from the 'Romeo Must Die' soundtrack will now not be released.

This means there will be now be no new material from Aaliyah until the completion of her third album, the follow-up to the Missy Elliot/Timbaland produced [b]'One In A Million'.

During her last visit to the UK, Aaliyah told NME.COM that she hoped to work with new label mate D'Angelo, but before that happens she has to complete her starring role in her second movie, 'Queen Of The Damned', a vampire flick penned by horror writer Anne Rice.

'Romeo Must Die' is currently showing in cinemas nationwide.
