A$AP Rocky has declared he's got a five-year plan as he strives for longevity in his career - click above to watch the exclusive NME video interview with the rapper.

The rising hip-hop star, who's due to release his debut studio album 'LongLiveA$AP' in July, explains that he wants to help the other members of his A$AP collective become "wise businessmen" after attracting attention with his 2011 mixtape 'LiveLoveA$AP'.

He comments:

My five-year plan is to create my own legacy, to turn all the A$AP members into wise businessmen and have longevity.

In the clip, the rapper takes a taxi ride across London to his first NME photoshoot and expresses surprise at how "kind" the residents of the English capital have been towards him during his stay. "I thought the people here would be snobby, but they've been nice and kind to me," he says.

The rapper enjoyed an eventful first visit to London last month, playing a chaotic show at the city's Cargo venue (March 20) just days after an all-out brawl erupted at his show at SXSW in Austin, Texas.
