A$AP Rocky has confirmed that his debut album proper will not be released until 2013.

The New York rapper was originally due to release his 'LongLiveA$AP' album in September of this year but rescheduled the release date to October 31. That release has now been shelved until next year with Rocky revealing in an interview with MissInfo.tv that the mastering of the album is taking longer than expected as he will not back down over clearing any of the samples used on the record.

Explaining the delay, Rocky said: "The issue with my album is I got things on it that’s so out of this world that it’s taking so long to get mastered. That’s the issue, and I refuse to take anything off. It’s complete, everything is being mastered and cleared right now. Its just so hard to get things cleared, because you got to find people to clear samples. It takes a long time and that’s why it keeps getting pushed back from Halloween to September 11. I want to say it’s looking like top of the year, first quarter because it makes no sense to put out a album in December.”

The album, which is likely to feature the track 'Goldie', is also rumoured to include collaborations with Santigold and Pharrell Williams, as well as his 'Ridin'' – his collaboration with Lana Del Rey that was pulled from the KickDrums' recent mixtape.

Rocky recently spoke about his time spent recording with Lana Del Rey, admitting that he wanted to "bone" the 'Video Games' singer.
