A$AP Rocky has debuted the video for his track 'Phoenix' – scroll down to the bottom of the page and click to watch.

The promo, which stars The Wire and Boardwalk Empire actor Michael K Williams and model Joan Smalls, was directed by Francesco Carrozzini and Asia Argento.

'Phoenix' is taken from the rapper's debut album 'Long. Live. A$AP.', which was released in January and debuted at Number One on the US Billboard 200 albums chart. In the UK, it peaked at Number Seven on the Official Albums Chart.

A$AP Rocky's previous video, 'Fashion Killa', starred Rihanna and was released in September (2013). The same month, he made a guest appearance in Drake's Miami Vice-themed video for 'Hold On We're Going Home'.

Meanwhile, A$AP Rocky recently apologised for behaviour that he says "came off homophobic" at this year's MTV VMAs. At the awards ceremony in August, the Harlem-based rapper appeared on stage to introduce a Macklemore performance alongside basketball player Jason Collins, who is gay, and seemd to pull a face in discomfort when Collins began speaking about his homosexuality.
