A$AP Rocky has been arrested after a brawl in New York last night (July 19), according to reports.

The rapper, who is currently readying his debut album 'Long Live A$AP', was arrested last night in New York after he was allegedly involved in a brawl in downtown Manhattan with two members of the public.

According to US gossip site TMZ, the rapper, whose real name is Rakim Mayers, was arrested after he allegedly became angry when two members of the public began taking pictures of him arguing with a friend and a full-scale brawl then ensued.

The report states that both of the members of the public required treatment for cuts and bruises, with one requiring treatment at a local hospital.

The rapper has reportedly been arrested for robbery over the incident, although there are currently no details of what he is accused of stealing.

A$AP Rocky recently starred alongside Lana Del Rey in the singer's new video for 'National Anthem'. The video also features A$AP Rocky, who plays former US President John F Kennedy, while Del Rey plays his wife Jacqueline Kennedy.

A$AP Rocky has previously said that the video is "Some cool trippy shit, some real 2015 shit. People are going to get it in three years, and that's the whole purpose of it."
