ABBA stars settle legal battle

They agree on writing credit for Swedish musical

ABBA stars Benny Andersson and Bjorn Ulvaeus have settle a dispute over who gets writing credit for one of their musicals.

After several months of legal wrangling, the two men and writer Carl-Johan Seth, issued a statement today (March 10) saying they had reached an agreement.

"We are glad that we have agreed and that we can continue to be friends," they said in the statement.

The artists were arguing over who would claim main writing credit for the musical 'Kristina Fran Duvemala', which may be bound for Broadway.

The parties did not disclose many details of the settlement, aside from the fact that it would end Seth's appeal of Stockholm District Court's ruling last year in Andersson and Ulvaeus' favour, reports the Associated Press.
