They'll join The Eagles in strategic sales scheme

AC/DC will reportedly release their forthcoming album exclusively via Wal-Mart stores later this year.

The band will join the likes of The Eagles in selling their new album only through the American retail giant, the Wall Street Journal reported yesterday (June 8).

AC/DC revealed earlier this year that they have been recording new material in Vancouver with producer Brendan O'Brien (Pearl Jam, Bruce Springsteen).

This will be the veteran Australian rockers' first new album since 2000's 'Stiff Upper Lip'.
