Hospital room to be named after AC/DC frontman

A music therapy room at a Florida hospital is being named after AC/DC frontman Brian Johnson.

Johnson has been involved in an effort to raise money to buy music equipment to help children learn about music. The programme extends to hospitalised children.

Johnson is scheduled to be on hand at the Sarasota Memorial Hospital for the unveiling of the Brian Johnson Music Therapy Room next week, reports the Associated Press.

The funds were raised via the John Entwistle Foundation, named after The Who's late bassist, who died in 2002. The non-profit organisation provides music education for underserved children.

Meanwhile, AC/DC are currently on their Black Ice World Tour - and have just announced two stadium shows in the UK, at London Wembley Stadium on June 26, and Hampden Park in Glasgow on June 30, as previously reported.
