AC/DC are rumoured to be playing next year's Download festival, after an admin on the band's official website Acdc.com seemingly confirmed that the band would headline the event.
The admin revealed the band will play Download on June 11 next year before taking the notice down from the website, reports VirtualFestivals.com.
Although AC/DC still haven't been confirmed to play Download, the festival's organiser Andy Copping tweeted about the blip, which he called a "slip up".
Copping tweeted: "Not sure what to say about the AC/DC slip up tonight, it appears to have been taken off their site now. I think they may just want to play."
The event will celebrate 30 years of rock at Donington Park in Leicestershire.
