Actor Macaulay Culkin joined Adam Green on stage at a gig in Bristol last night (April 10) to cover The Beach Boys' classic 'Kokomo'.

Culkin – famed for his role as Kevin Mcallister in cult films Home Alone and Home Alone 2 – performed an encore with Green at his gig at Bristol's Thekla. He was playing in place of Binki Shapiro, with whom Green recently released a self-titled album of duets, as she was ill and couldn't make the gig.

Daniel Fowler, from Bristol, was at the gig. He tells NME "Macaulay Culkin was a special guest. Adam came onstage and said he was sorry that Binki couldn’t make it. But he said that for the encore we'd have a special surprise guest. Then Macaulay Culkin came on for the last song and sang with Adam Green" When asked how it sounded, he replied: "It was OK. Adam was carrying the lead vocals. I think Macauley's mic wasn't quite as loud, but it sounded OK. "

Culkin, 32, previously collaborated with in Green his experimental film The Wrong Ferarri.
