SUPERSTAR DJS? HERE WE GO...

Members of Pulp, St. Etienne and Add N To X are set to DJ at one of LONDON's biggest New Year's Eve parties this year.

Bob Stanley and Pete Wiggs of St Etienne, and Barry 7 of Add N To (X) have all confirmed for Transit NYE 2000. Jarvis Cocker is also highly likely to confirm. His previous experience as a DJ includes remixing tracks for Death In Vegas and Black Box Recorder, with Pulp bass player Steve Mackey, as The Chocolate Layers.

The event will be held at the Gainsborough Studios in London?s Hoxton, home to legendary film-maker Alfred Hitchcock for the early part of his career. As a tribute, the night will be Hitchcock-themed, with each of the four arenas focusing on a different Hitchcock film: 'Vertigo', 'Spellbound', 'Notorious' and 'The Birds'.

Other conformed DJs include Interstellar Fugitives and Kenny Dixon Jr (Moodyman). Further additions will be announced through www.x313.com over the coming weeks.

Tickets for the 3000-capacity event cost #30 and are available through the usual outlets.
