Producer hails Adele's 'Skyfall' track as 'best Bond theme of my lifetime'
Ryan Tedder says '21' singer's track 'Let The Sky Fall' should nab an Oscar
Tedder, who also fronts the band One Republic and worked with the Tottenham soul singer in the past, praised the track on Twitter and also revealed that Adele had teamed up with her '21' producer Paul Epworth to record the song.
Tedder subsequently deleted his Twitter post but, according to MI6-HQ.com, he originally wrote:
I've heard it. Best bond song in my lifetime. Hands down- hats off once again to Paul Epworth and Adele. hope they win Oscar.
His comments come shortly after it was revealed that Adele's Bond theme would be titled 'Let The Sky Fall'. Showbiz 411 have claimed that the track is an "ominous, dramatic ballad" containing "lots of gorgeous horn flourishes", and boasts a chorus of: "Let the sky fall/ Let it crumble/ We still stand tall/ And face it all/ Together".
Meanwhile, a source close to Adele recently claimed that her new album has been inspired by her pregnancy. With the singer and her boyfriend Simon Konecki currently expecting their first child, a friend of the couple's claimed that her next record will be "lighter" than the heartbreak-tinged '21' due to her "excitement" at her impending new arrival.
