Adele reported swore 33 times during her headline set at this year's Glastonbury Festival.

The north London singer topped the Pyramid Stage on Saturday, following on from Muse's headline performance the night before (June 24) and Coldplay tonight (June 26).

Earlier in the set, Adele warned fans of what to expect of her language, saying: "Do you know how rock and roll I am? Not very, but the BBC had to give a warning about my potty mouth before I went on. I bet Muse didn't get that."

The Mirror reports that by their calculations Adele swore 33 times during her 90 minute set, which comes to one swear word every 2.7 minutes.
