Aerosmith's Steve Tyler has sued bloggers who impersonated him online – although he does not know the identities of those he has sued.
The singer filed the lawsuit yesterday (September 24), reports Reuters.
He claims that bloggers have impersonated him and girlfriend Erin Brady online, writing about intimate details of his life.
The offending blogs were removed by Google at Tyler's request. He believes that the individuals behind the blogs are the same people who wrote similar blogs last year.
The blogs, posted on Blogspot.com, made reference to Tyler's late mother, with the singer singling them out as the "most hurtful" in the lawsuit.
Tyler is seeking a injunction to stop the alleged offenders impersonating him in the future.
