Aerosmith and ZZ Top for joint US tour

Three dates have been announced so far

Aerosmith and ZZ Top are set to tour the US together this summer, and have announced three dates so far.

Shows in Irvine, CA, Kansas City, MO and St. Paul, MN have been confirmed, with the remaining dates to be unveiled in the coming weeks.

Aerosmith had been working on the follow-up to 2001’s ‘Just Push Play’, but have put it on hold due to health issues and live shows. The record is due to be released this year.

Guitarist Joe Perry underwent surgery to clear up an infection after a knee-replacement, while Steven Tyler suffered pneumonia.

The dates so far are:

Irvine, CA Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre (August 23)
Kansas City, MO Sprint Center (September 1)
St Paul, MN Xcel Energy Center (8)
