Footballers not allowed to travel to USA for hip-hop bash

English Premiership strikers including Chelsea's Didier Drogba and Nicolas Anelka have been banned from attending a hip-hop Christmas party set to be held by Lil Wayne and Akon in Miami.

Sunderland's El-Hadji Diouf and Djibril Cisse have also been banned from attending the bash, set to take place in Christmas week (beginning December 22), reports The Sun.

The two rappers are staging an enormous party, importing snow from Greenland to give it an extra festive feel.

However, Chelsea manager Luiz Felipe Scolari and his Sunderland counterpart Roy Keane have scuppered their players' chances of attending the bash by forbidding their players to fly to the event.

"The footballers were really up for a big night out but the bosses have said no," the newspaper quotes an anonymous source as saying.

Invitees who will be hoping no-one bans them from attending include Kanye West, Leona Lewis, Gwen Stefani and Michael Jackson.

That's a lucky escape for those footballers then. Imagine being subjected to the fucking shite that these wankers pass off as music. Akon? Akunt more like.

It's not exactly going to have an adverse effect on Drogba's form this season, is it?
