P'S IN FASHION

DJ ALEX P has been invited to provide the score to designer MICHIKO KOSHINO's fashion show, as part of the LONDON FASHION WEEK.

The designer, who has recently created clothes for the likes of the Prodigy, All Saints, Placebo and Sonique, hosts her show on February 23 at The West Lawn Tent at the Natural History Museum.

"I can't belive that I have been asked to do the show, it really is an honour," admitted the DJ. "I have carefully selected a number of tracks with Michiko to really complement her eclectic designs and reflect the oeuvre of the collection. I love Michiko Koshino's clothes and have lots of her menswear hanging in my wardrobe - I'm just hoping to get a few freebies."

"I am delighted that Alex is providing the music for this fashion show," Koshino commented. "I have admired his work for many years, and so he was a natural choice to provide the musical essence of my collection."

Alex P, who with DJ partner Brandon Block has a reputation for unruly behaviour, will also be DJing for the after party at the Mayfair Club in Soho, London.
