Alice Cooper is set to release 'Welcome 2 My Nightmare', the sequel to his 1975 album ‘Welcome To My Nightmare’ on October 17.

Produced by Bob Ezrin, the album features a guest appearance from Ke$ha – on 'What Baby Wants' - as well as original Alice Cooper bandmembers Denis Dunaway, Michael Bruce and Neal Smith, who are reunited for three album tracks.

The album release will be preceded by the single 'I'll Bite Your Face Off', which is released digitally on August 22 and on limited edition 7" picture vinyl on September 12.

About his new album, the frontman says:

This is Alice's nightmare 35 years later. Bob and I created this character and we know how to write for him. I play the part but we’re not writing for me, we’re writing for Alice. We kept the first Nightmare album very personal to us, on this one we found more humour and we were more open.

On his collaboration with Ke$ha he added:

I think a lot of my audience is going to go KE$HA!?, but she probably wrote the most disgusting lyrics in the song – we had to rein her in. I like people to know that just because artists are put in a pigeon hole, that doesn't mean that's what they are. Give people a little room.

The Daily Star is also reporting that Alice Cooper has said that he wants to ‘spitroast’ Lady Gaga in her iconic meat bikini. “I thought it would be good to put Lady Gaga on stage on a spit and barbeque her in the meat dress,” he apparently said. “That would be great, people in the audience would come up and take chunks of meat off her."

'Welcome 2 My Nightmare' will initially be released first as a Fan Pack album in conjunction with Future Publishing in September, with a conventional release on October 17. The Fan Pack includes the album, a giant poster, a facepaint set, a metal badge, an Alice face mask and a 132-page magazine.

The 'Welcome 2 My Nightmare' tracklisting is:
'I Am Made Of You'
'Caffeine'
'The Nightmare Returns'
'A Runaway Train'
'Last Man On Earth'
'The Congregation'
'I'll Bite Your Face Off'
'Disco Bloodbath Boogie Fever'
'Ghouls Gone Wild'
'Something To Remember Me By'
'When Hell Comes Home'
'What Baby Wants'
'I Gotta Get Outta Here'
'The Underture'
'We Gotta Get Out Of This Place'

Alice Cooper also plays a six date Halloween tour following the album's release.
