Alicia Keys, Annie Lennox set to play Nobel concert

The event will honour Al Gore and other Nobel laureates

Alicia Keys, Annie Lennox and Melissa Etheridge are set to play a Nobel Peace Prize concert honouring former US Vice President Al Gore.

The concert is set to take place on December 11 and also honours representatives from the United Nations’ climate change panel, who were also awarded this year’s Nobel Peace Prize for their efforts to increase awareness about global warming.

Actor Tommy Lee Jones, who was Gore’s college roommate, will co-host the event.
