Nineteen year-old soul sensation ALICIA KEYS is not only celebrating the news that her debut album, 'Songs In A Minor' has stormed to the top of the Billboard album charts, but she is also preparing for her first live date in the UK.

The teenager who has been working on her live-sounding debut under the tutelage of former Arista Records boss Clive Davis for five years, will be make her first European performance on July 10 at London's Hanover Grand.

The album, which is yet to attain a confirmed release date in Europe, is an hour-long plus exercise in the delights of live instrumentation, built, gospel-inspired vocals which relay modern relationship concerns. Her album is predicted to attract fans of Jill Scott and Sade.
