Alt-J members Joe Newman and Gus Unger-Hamilton have written and performed the score for a new short film, entitled Wander With Me.

Watch the film, which was written and directed by Jon E Price, below. The short is described as "a nostalgic and youthful short film between two young mods in a run down working class seaside town. A town where trade, population and morale has dwindled, their relationship is stretched as the girl ponders it over at the water front."

The band recently released 'Left Hand Free', a new song from their forthcoming second album 'This Is All Yours'. The track follows on from the album's first single 'Hunger Of The Pine', which dropped last month.

'This Is All Yours' is the follow-up to the band's Mercury Prize-winning debut record 'An Awesome Wave', which was released in 2012. The album is due for release on September 22 and will coincide with a short UK tour that includes sold-out shows at Alexandra Palace in London, The Academy in Glasgow and the O2 Apollo, Manchester.

The album will be Alt-J's first release since the departure of guitarist and bass player Gwil Sainsbury, who left the band amicably earlier this year owing to personal reasons. Frontman Joe Newman recently called Sainsbury the band's "silent leader", saying that after his departure "I didn't think we were going to pick ourselves up".

Alt-J will play:

Glasgow O2 Academy (September 18)
Manchester Apollo (19-20)
Wolverhampton Civic Hall (22)
Brighton Centre (23)
London Alexandra Palace (24)
Dublin O2 Arena (27)
