END OF CHAOS AT VIRGIN!

Amen have parted company with VIRGIN RECORDS.

The group, who have completed work on their as-yet-untitled third album, have issued a statement today confirming the departure.

The statement from mainman Casey Chaos reads: "We would like to thank all the past and present employees at Virgin for the last two years of hard work and dedication. Congratulations with putting up with us for that long! We wish you all the best in your new direction."

A spokesperson for the group said that Amen were signed to producer Ross Robinson's I Am imprint, which is also no longer with Virgin Records. It is thought Robinson is currently looking for a new home for I Am.

Fellow I Am signings Vex Red remain with Virgin at the present time, according to a spokesperson for the group.

A spokesperson for Virgin is not immediately available for comment.
