Amy Winehouse is to play a small number of intimate shows in the US, including a date at the South By Southwest festival in Austin.

The British singer will play a show at New York’s Bowery Ballroom before heading to Austin, and following SXSW she heads west for a couple of shows in Los Angeles.

The performances will coincide with the US release of her second album ’Back To Black’, which has been available in the UK since October, and topped the chart in her home country earlier this year.

She is nominated in two categories at this year’s Brit Awards – Best Album and Best Female vocalist. The ceremony takes place on Wednesday (February 14) at Earls Court in London.

Her US tour dates are:

New York, NY Bowery Ballroom (March 13)
Austin, TX SXSW (15/16)
Los Angeles, CA Roxy Theater (19)
Los Angeles, CA Spaceland (20)
