Amy Winehouse has pulled out of her slot at the T In The Park festival due to "exhaustion".

The star was due to play the Radio1/NME stage at the Scottish bash today (July 7), but a statement revealed that she had been advised by doctors to rest and will not be performing live for the time being.

The singer, who played two sets at the Glastonbury Festival last month (June 22), also pulled an appearance at Liverpool's Summer Pops festival earlier this week.

Winehouse was also due to play the Oxegen Festival in Ireland tomorrow (July 8).

The statement reads:

"Amy Winehouse has unfortunately had to cancel her appearance at T In The Park due to exhaustion. Following a year of non-stop touring and promotion, Amy has been advised by a doctor to take time off and rest. Amy would like to apologise to fans for this cancellation."

NME.COM will be bringing you all the action from the T In The Park and Oxegen festivals this weekend.
