The singer cancels gigs in Norway and Denmark
Amy Winehouse was hospitalised in London today (August 8) for "severe exhaustion".
The news follows back-to-back performances by the singer at two US festivals this past weekend - the Virgin Festival in Baltimore, and Lollapalooza in Chicago, where she gave an a typically lifeless performance as previously reported.
Winehouse was released from the hospital this afternoon and advised to "take complete rest", reports the Associated Press.
As a result, she has had to cancel her performances in Norway and Denmark scheduled for later this week.
