Singer says she's sorted out and recording new album

Amy Winehouse has confirmed she is to return to the studio to start work on a new album, as tabloid stories about her well-being continue to circulate.

As previously reported, the singer apparently overdosed in the summer, causing her to cancel an appearance at this year's V Festival - however, she then dropped out of rehab opting to go on holiday instead.

Addressing rumours about her health head on, the singer insisted: "I'm sorted out. Nothing’s wrong with me," adding: "A lot of fuss has been made about nothing."

She then stated her intention to work on the follow up to her Mercury-nominated album 'Back To Black', which was released in October 2006.

Speaking to The Daily Mirror, the singer announced: "I'm writing some new stuff and can't wait to be back on tour."

Meanwhile, Amy Winehouse is up for four nominations at the MOBO Awards at the O2 Arena on Wednesday (September 19).
