Singer says she can't perform 'without my Blake'

Amy Winehouse has cancelled all her live dates and promotional appearances for the rest of 2007.

The star has released a statement saying that she can’t perform without having her husband, Blake Fielder-Civil, by her side. Fielder-Civil is currently in jail, waiting to enter a plea for charges of perverting the course of justice.

In the statement Winehouse said: “I can’t give it my all onstage without my Blake. I’m so sorry but I don’t want to do the shows half-heartedly; I love singing. My husband is everything to me and without him it’s just not the same.”

Winehouse had come under fire from fans recently after a poor performance at London’s Hammersmith Apollo on Saturday
(November 24), where she appeared intoxicated throughout the show.

Fans can obtain refunds for tickets for cancelled shows at the points of purchase.

I feel for the fans that won't get to see her. I was a lucky one who got to see her in the barrowlands at her best. All credit to her that night....she was amazing. I would've been so vexed if she hadn't turned up...after being severly disappointed after her no show at T in the Park. I wish Amy all the best and i only hope her talent isnt overshadowed by her no shows and the tabloid tales.
