The Crown Prosecution Service has said that Amy Winehouse is unlikely to be charged for any crime relating to her husband Blake Fielder-Civil’s charges of perverting the course of justice.

Winehouse had previously been questioned by police regarding money her husband was alleged to have been planning to use to pay off a witness to an alleged assault in which he was involved in.

But a source at the Crown Prosecution Service told the News Of The World that if she did give money to her husband, this would not be a criminal offence.

“It is most likely the case against her will be dropped,” the source claimed.

Blake Fielder-Civil is currently being held in Pentonville Prison in London, waiting to enter a plea for the charge of perverting the course of justice.
