Video footage of Amy Winehouse allegedly smoking crack is to be assessed by the police.
As previously reported on NME.COM, The Sun newspaper yesterday (January 22) printed stills from a video of Winehouse smoking what is alleged to be crack, posting the video on their website.
A spokesperson from Scotland Yard has since said that police “will assess the footage to ascertain whether any action needs to be taken”.
Meanwhile yesterday Winehouse visited the Edwards House outpatients department of London's Nightingale Hospital, which is known for treating drug users.
She stayed for two hours, after which a spokesperson explained that she had not entered a rehab course.
In a statement, Winehouse’s record label, Universal, said: “We are doing everything we can to offer Amy our full support in dealing with her problems.”
