Amy Winehouse is scheduled to appear at the upcoming Grammy Awards, but her father thinks it's too soon for the troubled singer to leave rehab.
Winehouse is nominated in six Grammy categories and her record label issued a statement last week saying the singer was undergoing treatment for drug addiction to "prepare for her planned appearance at the Grammy Awards."
However, Mitch Winehouse told the Daily Mirror that he thinks the pressure of the big American gig could be too much for his daughter.
"I'm not sure the Grammys are going to happen," he said. "I don't want her to go -- I think it might be a bit too soon for her. She's not well - that's why she's in rehab."
The Grammy Awards are set to take place in Los Angeles on February 10.
