London mayor hopeful Boris Johnson has joked that he wants to recruit Amy Winehouse in his campaign to be the UK capital's mayor.
Speaking on LBC radio, Johnson added that he’d like Winehouse to sing him a special song of support.
Johnson said it would be "fantastic" if Winehouse would lend her support.
He added that she could change the lyrics of her hit ‘Rehab’ to, “'Ken Livingstone – no, no, no', something like that”.
Johnson vented his displeasure at the news that Elton John had pledged his support to his rival for the job of mayor, Brian Paddick.
“Elton and David Furnish send us a Christmas card every year,” he explained.
