Lance Fielder is airlifted to hospital with back injuries

Amy Winehouse's father-in-law has been badly hurt after crashing his pushbike.

Lance Fielder, father of the singer's jailed husband Blake Fielder-Civil, was airlifted to hospital after the accident.

The 67-year-old lay in a water-filled ditch near his home for three hours before being spotted by a farmer, reports The Mirror.

He is thought to have suffered severe spinal injuries.

Fielder had been due to visit Blake at Pentonville Prison on Monday (May 19).

His wife Jane said: "He's in good spirits. The doctors can't say what's going to happen. It's a long-term thing."
