A waxwork model of Amy Winehouse has been unveiled at Madame Tussauds, London.

The sculpture took four-and-a-half months to create - the likeness was formed from existing photographs, as Winehouse was unable to pose for the waxwork.

According to Sky News more time than usual was spent on the Winehouse waxwork due to her distinct beehive hairstyle and tattoos.

The wax model, unveiled by the singer's parents, joins other celebrity waxworks, including one of Madonna, at the tourist attraction.
