Amy Winehouse has been charged with assault with regards to an incident that allegedly took place last September.
The singer attended a police station today (March 6) and was charged with common assault, reportsBBC News.
Winehouse is accused of hitting a fan during the End of Summer Ball that took place in London's Berkeley Square on September 25 last year. She must answer the charge at the City of Westminster Magistrates' Court on March 17.
