Amy Winehouse cancels Coachella appearance

Singer is not travelling to the US

Amy Winehouse's much-anticipated set the upcoming Coachella festival has been scrapped.

The singer has not applied for a US visa, so she will not be cleared to perform in the country in time for the event.

"She is not appearing at Coachella this year in the light of current legal issues," Winehouse's spokesman told the Mirror.

As previously reportedly, the singer is accused of assaulting a after a gig in London. She will answer the charge in court next Tuesday (March 17).
