Amy Winehouse has cancelled her previously-scheduled London show, which had been set to take place at the Shepherd's Bush Empire on May 31.

No reason was given for the cancellation.

The show, part of the star's label Island Records' 50th birthday celebrations, had been set to mark a comeback of sorts for the 'Rehab' singer. She made her first performance of 2009 at the St. Lucia Jazz Festival earlier this month, although the set was scuppered halfway through due to conditions at the event.

Refunds for the London show tickets will be given at the points of purchase.
