Amy Winehouse has divorced husband Blake Fielder-Civil at London's High Court today (July 16).
The couple, who met in a London bar in 2005, were not present but were granted a divorce by judge Michael Segal in proceedings that lasted a few minutes.
It is reported that Winehouse has agreed to pay Fielder-Civil off with a £2.4 million ($3.6 million) settlement. The star has an estimated £10 million ($15 million) fortune.
Those close to Winehouse, including her father Mitch, blamed Fielder-Civil's influence on getting Winehouse addicted to drugs and drink throughout their tumultuous relationship.
In January, Fielder-Civil's solicitor said he had been "instructed to commence divorce proceedings on the grounds of Amy's adultery".
Last July, he was sentenced to 27 months for assaulting a pub landlord in Hoxton, east London, in 2006.
