Amy Winehouse has checked into The Priory clinic to seek treatment for drug and alcohol addiction once more.

According to The Sun today (May 27) Winehouse's spokesman said that the singer had "embarked on treatment at The Priory."

The report also details an incident, suggested to have taken place on the way to the treatment centre, in which Winehouse allegedly vomited in a North London hairdressers after consuming a miniature bottle of vodka. However, the singer's spokesman denied this, suggesting that Winehouse had been joking about being sick in the hairdressers.

Amy Winehouse is currently booked to appear at three European festivals during the summer, including the BBK festival in Bilbao, Spain. She has yet to give an indication as to whether she will be performing new material at the festivals.

There has been no comment yet as to whether her spell in rehab will affect any live commitments.
