Amy Winehouse’s family and boyfriend are set to appear on US talk show Anderson, hosted by Anderson Cooper, next week (September 12).

The late singer’s parents Mitch - pictured above - and Janis, as well as her boyfriend, film director Reg Traviss, will be the first guests on the new series of the popular Stateside daytime talk show.

The filming will take place tomorrow (September 9) and it will be the first public discussion by the Winehouse family about Amy’s death on July 23 at the age of 27. The show is being billed as an ‘exclusive’, says the Hollywood Reporter.

The interview will apparently “examine the singer's self-destructive behaviour and her family's attempts to help her".

Host Anderson Cooper said:
We want it to be a look at what happened to her and the struggles that she was facing and the struggles that the family was facing in trying to get [her] help and her incredible talent and career… I'm glad they're [her family] willing to talk to us.
