ANDREW WK GETS READY TO 'PARTY HARD'
ANDREW WK - an NME.COM tip for global megastardom - has been speaking exclusively to us about playing the UK for the first time next month - and how he's dealing with being dubbed one of music's next big things.

Andrew flies over here to play his recently upgraded debut gig at the London Highbury Garage on October 23, to support the release of his debut single 'Party Hard' on October 29 and debut album 'I Get Wet' on November 12, both through Mercury.

He told NME.COM: "I've only ever been to the airport before. It's supposed to be very overcast isn't it, and I imagine that's beautiful. I'm looking forward to seeing all the building and the lack thereof. Then we just want to play the best we can - and have a nice time! We just want to put as much fucking energy as we can put out and do the best we can and we hope people like it."

For the full story, see this week's NME, dated October 6, in shops nationwide today.
