Andy Williams says he's playing Glastonbury Festival 2010
Crooner to head to Worthy Farm next year
Andy Williams has confirmed that he is set to play at the Glastonbury festival 2010.
The crooner revealed that he had been asked to play at the Somerset bash while he was onstage at the Cheltenham Literature Festival on Saturday (October 10), reports The Guardian.
The crowd responded by cheering loudly.
BBC Radio 4's John Wilson said: "I had asked him if he had any plans to play any more gigs, and he said he had been asked to play at the festival."
Glastonbury takes place on June 25-27 next year. Tickets have sold out, although a limited number of cancelled tickets are set to go on sale today (October 12).
