Vivienne Jolie-Pitt will reportedly play Jolie's on-screen daughter in fantasy film 'Maleficent'
The four-year-old daughter of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt has reportedly landed her first film role.
According to The Sun, Vivienne Jolie-Pitt will play Princess Aurora, Jolie’s on-screen-daughter, in upcoming fantasy film Maleficent. A source is said to have told the tabloid: “Ange thought it would be a fun experience for her and Viv to share, and Viv is a natural. The other kids are now nagging Ange and Brad to land them roles.”
Starring Jolie in the title role, Maleficent tells the classic tale of Sleeping Beauty from the perspective of the wicked queen. Fourteen-year-old Elle Fanning will also play Princess Aurora, in a large co-starring role, suggesting that Jolie’s daughter is only likely to appear in early flashback scenes.
Maleficent began shooting in England in June (2012) and is scheduled for release on March 14, 2014. Other cast members include Juno Temple, Miranda Richardson, Sam Riley and Imelda Staunton. The film will mark the directing debut of Robert Stromberg, who is best known as an Oscar-winning visual effects designer.
Vivienne Marcheline Jolie-Pitt and her non-identical twin Knox Léon Jolie-Pitt were born on July 12, 2008 in Nice, France. They are the youngest of the Hollywood couple’s six children, three of whom are adopted.
