Animal Collective's Panda Bear announces US solo tour and new single details

Animal Collective's Panda Bear has announced details of an upcoming US tour and single release.

Beginning in San Francisco on September 6, the four-date jaunt will also visit Portland and Raleigh, before ending in New York on September 11.

Meanwhile, Panda Bear – real name Noah Lennox – will issue the first in a series of limited edition seven-inch singles on the run up to his forthcoming new album, 'Tomboy'.

Due out on July 13, via Animal Collective's Paw Tracks label, the two-track single will feature the songs 'Tomboy' and 'Slow Motion'.

San Francisco, CA, Fox (September 6)
Portland, OR, Crystal Ballroom (8)
Raleigh, NC, Hopscotch Music Festival (10)
New York, NY, Governor's Island (11)
