Anna Calvi covers The Shirelles for ‘Suzanne & I’ single release – listen

Anna Calvi has covered The Shirelles 1961 hit ‘Baby It’s You’ on the b-side of her forthcoming single release ‘Suzanne & I’.

Scroll down to listen to Calvi’s version of the song, which was written by Burt Bacharach, Luther Dixon and Mack David. The song was also covered by The Beatles on their 1963 debut album, ‘Please Please Me’.

The limited edition 7” single is released September 12 through Domino Records.

Anna Calvi will be playing Reading and Leeds Festivals this weekend and embarks on her own headline tour of the UK, starting this October.
