Annie Lennox has been chosen as the recipient of this year's Silver Clef award in recognition for her outstanding contribution in music.

The Eurythmics singer will be presented with the honour at the Nordoff Robbins luncheon at London's Hilton hotel on July 1, reports BBC News.
